Hey!! Yes, You!! America!! Wake Up!!

By simplyannoyed

Ok, before I began the task of starting the SimplyAnnoyed.net Nation I was unsure of  how I wanted to present myself. I had to ask myself a few questions. Was I looking for an outlet which would allow me to vent to my heart’s content? Did I believe that I had something worth saying? Would anyone want to hear it? Did I really care if they did or not? The answers were yes, sure, who knows? and not one damn bit. So, what the hell? Just another wacko with a website, right?

The theme came easily. Being frustrated with the government’s imposing power and continual growth along with a recent rediscovery of my political philosophy based on Libertarian ideals, I had the base for my theme. The defense of our Constitutional Rights against government officials, politicians (both parties), the socialist agenda and political correctness. It may be too late already, but we have given too much power to the Federal Government. This has contributed directly to the defects in the social, educational, economical, legal and individual wellfare of OUR country.

“Hi, we’re the government. We are here to help you.” RUN!!!

The more government involvement the better off we are? No one believes that. Politicians don’t say it because they know we don’t believe it.  Yet, it is the practice of politicians to pander for votes. Minority groups (special interests) trade their votes for favors. These favors usually intrude upon the freedoms of others. Government regulation of everyday American “LIFE”? That is not what the constitution represented, nor was it the intentions of the Founding Fathers.

We’re not innocent in this matter. Individuals who dislike something about someone else and believe they should conform to their ways ask to be pandered to. We ask, sometimes beg them to take away freedom after freedom.

So, I will dedicate SimplyAnnoyed.net  to our Founding Fathers, Liberty, Freedom, The men and women who have protected and those who now protect the American ideal.

I thought I knew it all. Then, I started this project. I have just begun and I have learned a great deal. For example, I knew we did not have a Constitutional right to Vote, but I never knew why till I read the actual thoughts, written by our Founding Fathers themselves.

So, I hope we can wake up America. The great experiment is almost over.

Next Time,

Simply Annoyed
